Guilford County Public Schools

Reedy Fork Elementary School is located right here at the Ranch on the corner of Reedy Fork Parkway and Turner Smith Road (4571 Reedy Fork Parkway). Grade levels are kindergarten through fifth. Please visit their website for complete information.

Northeast Middle and High Schools are both located only 4 1/2 miles from Reedy Fork on McLeansville Road.  Northeast High was the 2008/09 winner of the Hubert B. Guilford County Magnet Schools

Guilford County has become a national leader in providing specialized schools and instructional programs designed to meet the needs of a culturally diverse citizenship.  From K-12, students can participate in magnet schools while pursuing academic interests in specialized learning environments such as Math, Science, Technology, Global Studies, Montessori, Performing Arts, Middle College and more. North Carolina Charter Schools

Charter Schools are another great option for kindergarten through twelfth grade levels.  As with the other public school choices listed above, there are no tuition fees.  Two of these schools which are conviently located to Reedy Fork are the Triad Math and Science Academy and Guilford Prep Academy.  Please refer to their websites for more details on the excellent academic programs they have to offer.
 

Private Education

Greensboro has numerous options for private education. Below are two of those most nearby the Ranch:

Canterbury School is located only 6.9 miles or 13 minutes from Reedy Fork Ranch. The school is an episcopal school for students of all religious faiths and serves those in K-8th grades.

St. Pius X Catholic School is 8 miles and only 11 minutes away. The school has programming for grades K-8 and strives to develop the spirtual life and leadership of every student.

Colleges and Universities

Higher education is abundant in Greensboro. Our excellent opportunities for advanced degrees of study include the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, A&T University, Guilford College, Greensboro College, Bennett College, the Elon University School of Law and Guilford Technical Community College.
